Nacogdoches County, TX — June 23, 2023, Stacey Hughes and another were injured in a drunk driving crash around 7:59 p.m. on F.M. 2259 in Nacogdoches County.
Sources report the victim’s Jeep Wrangler was southbound on F.M. 2259 when a Lincoln Continental heading southwest on C.R. 514 allegedly ran a stop sign, made a wide turn, and struck the Wrangler. The driver of the Lincoln reportedly fled the crash scene on foot and was located by authorities an hour later.
Ms. Hughes purportedly suffered serious injuries.
Police recommended charging the Lincoln Continental driver with driving without a license and intoxication assault.
