One of the challenges with single-vehicle wrecks is they’re often seen as a low priority. As a result, authorities sometimes move on too quickly, letting important details slip through the cracks. It’s one of the many reasons independent investigators can be such a vital asset after a serious accident. They generally dedicate the time and resources necessary to investigate even unlikely possible factors. That helps to ensure that victims and families will have all the evidence they need to tell their side of the story.
