Corpus Christi, TX — November 2, 2024, a man sustained injuries as the result of a motorcycle accident that happened at around 1:52 a.m. along Shoreline Boulevard.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the accident happened off the corner of Shoreline and the I-37 entrance.
According to officials, a 25-year-old man was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going southbound along Shoreline. In events which aren’t clear, the motorcycle ended up losing control and crashing. As a result, the operator sustained serious injuries.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further details can be reported.

One of the main concerns with motorcycle wrecks is they rarely get the attention they deserve. People have a negative bias against riders which can lead them to jump to conclusions. Even authorities can fall into this trap. In reality, it’s important motorcycle wrecks are treated as fairly and carefully as any serious accident. Were there mechanical issues? Did a tire blowout? Are there issues with this stretch of road? Was there another driver involved who left the scene? Likely or not, it’s important that investigations consider all possible factors and let the evidence speak for itself.
