College Station, TX — January 16, 2024, one person was injured in a single-car accident just after 3:15 a.m. along Anderson Street.
According to reports, a man and a woman—both age 20—were traveling in a northbound Mazda on Lemon Tree Lane at the Anderson Street intersection when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Mazda made a left turn onto Anderson Street before veering left and leaving the roadway, entering a grassy area, and striking a tree before coming to a stop. The 20-year-old man incurred reportedly serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
