St. Augusta, MN — May 1, 2023, Sierra Alexis Jones and three children were injured after a semi-truck accident at around 8:41 a.m. on Highway 15.
Authorities reported that they were called to the area of the Highway 15 and Stearns County Road 141 intersection, south of St. Cloud.
According to their initial statements, 23-year-old Sierra Alexis Jones was in a vehicle traveling along southbound lanes of the highway. Details suggest that a semi-truck, for reasons unclear at this time, crashed into the back of the van. This sent Jones’s van into oncoming lanes where it then crashed with a northbound vehicle.
As a result of the collisions, Jones and three children from the van were taken to the hospital. It appears their injuries were non-life-threatening. It does not appear that the other drivers involved in the crash had injuries. Authorities did not confirm if there were any pending charges or citations.
