Hays County, TX — May 28, 2025, Shirley Baucom and Donald Baucom were injured following a car accident at around 1:00 p.m. along Ranch Road 12.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at the intersection of Ranch Road 12 and Old Ranch Road 12 west of San Marcos.
According to officials, 77-year-old Shirley Baucom and 88-year-old Donald Baucom were in a Lincoln going southeast on the roadway. A Ford F-250 was going northwest when it reportedly failed to yield making a left turn. As a result, the vehicles collided.
