Montgomery County, TX — February 6, 2024, Sherrill Spies and one other person were injured in a car accident on Lake Front Circle.
According to authorities, 70-year-old Sherrill Spies was traveling in a westbound Nissan Pathfinder on Lake Front Circle with a green light at the Pinecroft Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound Infiniti occupied by a 75-year-old man on Pinecroft Drive neglected to heed the red light at the traffic signal, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-left of the Infiniti and the front-right of the Nissan.
Spies incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. The man from the Infiniti sustained reportedly moderate injuries, as well. Both were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. They were each the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.
