Harris County, TX — July 10, 2023, Shelley Marie Johnson and two others were injured following a truck accident at around 1:28 p.m. on the Sam Houston Tollway.
Preliminary details about the accident say that it happened along the westbound lanes of the tollway in the area of Antoine Drive.
According to investigators, 33-year-old Shelley Marie Johnson and two unidentified passengers were in a Buick that was going westbound along the tollway. For reasons not confirmed at this time, the vehicle lost control, causing it to hit the left inside barricade. The vehicle then veered to the right where it collided with an 18-wheeler before then overturning.
As a result of the accident, Johnson had injuries which appeared to be incapacitating while the other passengers, an adult and a minor, both had apparently non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported.
