Sharon Rodgers killed in Truck Accident in Pacific, MO

Pacific, MO — October 12, 2023 Sharon Rodgers was killed in a truck accident at about 6:45 p.m. along I-44.

According to the reports, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of the I-44 near Viaduct Street between a semi-truck and Sharon Rodgers’s Buick Lacrosse. Authorities state that the driver of the semi-truck was driving at lower speeds using both the far right-hand lane as well as part of the shoulder. It is unclear whether or not the truck was in the act of merging from one lane to the other. Neither did authorities report if emergency lights were in use.

For unknown reasons, Sharon Rogers’s Buick collided with the rear of the semi-truck. Public news reports don’t say what the conditions of the roads were at the time. Sharon, unfortunately, was killed as a result of the accident, having been pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into this accident is still ongoing, and no further details are available at this point in time.
