UPDATE (February 8, 2024): Further statements from authorities identified the man killed in the accident as Shane Adam Kirkman. It remains unclear whether or not authorities considered charges following the accident.
Waller County, TX — September 9, 2023, a motorcyclist was killed due to a truck accident that happened at around 5:51 a.m. along Woods Road.
According to sources, the 18-year-old was heading north on Woods Rd. and approaching the intersection with Center Blvd. when his motorcycle was reportedly struck by a westbound semi-tractor. Investigators further report the collision occurred on the northern side of the intersection while the semi-trailer was attempting a right-hand turn. That truck allegedly failed to yield at the stop sign.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident. Right now, it’s unclear if any charges are being considered.
