Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Beyond the inherent concern of investigating what caused the crash, semi-truck rollovers in particular don’t always get the attention they need. It’s an issue in the industry that often slips through the cracks. Despite the technology existing, a lot of manufacturers continue to build and sell trucks which fail to adequately protect occupants in the event of a rollover.

This will continue to cause truckers to be seriously injured or killed in accidents where they should be able to walk away okay. Maybe that isn’t what happened here, but it could prove to be an important detail to follow up on. If authorities didn’t look into the condition of the victim’s truck after the accident, it would raise concerns about what else they may have overlooked.
