Austin, TX — April 14, 2023, Scott Garrett was injured following an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around 10:57 p.m. along Brodie Lane.
According to officials with the Austin Police Department, the incident happened just before 11:00 p.m. in the area of the Brodie Lane and William Cannon Drive intersection.
Preliminary details about the incident show that 29-year-old Scott Garrett was on rollerblades traveling southbound along the side of Brodie. In a series of events not yet confirmed, a vehicle traveling in the same direction hit Garrett from behind.
As a result of the collision, Garrett sustained injuries which details suggest were incapacitating. There were no other confirmed injuries. It also appears that police believe that the driver was under the influence of alcohol when the collision occurred. It’s unclear if that person will face charges pending further investigations.
