Fort Bend County, TX — March 16, 2023, Sarahree Banks and another were injured and another killed in a possible drunk driving accident around 4:42 p.m. on W. Bellfort St. in Fort Bend County.
According to officials, Sarahree Banks’s Chevy Malibu was eastbound on W. Bellfort when a northbound Ford Ranger attempted a left turn from W. Aliana Trace Dr. onto W. Bellfort St. The nose of the Malibu collided with the driver’s side of the Ford Ranger. As W. Alianna Trace Dr. yields to W. Bellfort St. it is possible the Ford Ranger failed to yield the right of way.
Authorities report the Ford Ranger had two occupants and Ms. Banks was the only occupant in the Chevy Malibu. All three people involved in the crash were transported to a hospital. Reports say Ms. Banks suffered serious injuries, the driver of the Ford Ranger suffered minor injuries, and a passenger in the Ford Ranger was killed.
Reports say police have a video of the crash and recommended charging the Ford Ranger driver with Intoxication Assault and Intoxication Manslaughter.
