Jefferson County, TX — May 13, 2023, Sandra Johnson was injured in a truck accident around 3:05 a.m. on Highway 124 in Jefferson County.

Officials report the victim’s Chevy Camero was southbound while a Freightliner semi-truck was northbound on Hwy. 124 about a mile southwest of Cheek, TX when the two vehicles collided head-on. Ms. Johnson reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to a medical center.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
