While it’s encouraging to see authorities have a suspect identified here, it’s important to know why these accidents aren’t always so simple. A lot of the time when a driver leaves the scene of an accident, it’s to hide something specific. Sometimes, it’s warrants. Other times, the driver may have been drunk or in possession of drugs. Some of these things may warrant consequences beyond the accident itself, and it’s important that victims and families know that those who wronged them will be held appropriately accountable. Are those possibilities being looked into here?
