Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Authorities say they recommended charges against the Lexus driver for manslaughter. Right now, specifics about those potential charges are unclear. Obviously, running a light is a serious mistake that warrants consequences. But I don’t often see authorities so quickly come out with such serious charges. Could it be that something particularly egregious led to this awful event? Drugs? Alcohol? Racing? One way or another, it just seems like there has to be more to this story.
