Coryell County, TX — January 7, 2024, Samantha Lynch and one other person were injured in a car accident just before 6:00 p.m. along U.S. Highway 190.
According to authorities, 31-year-old Samantha Lynch was traveling in an eastbound Jeep Compass on U.S. 190 in he vicinity southwest of Old Copperas Cove Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, allegedly due to a tire blowout, a westbound Toyota Tundra pickup truck swerved into the eastbound lane. This led to a head-on collision between the Jeep and the pickup truck. Both Lynch and a 52-year-old man from the pickup were apparently severely injured as a result of the crash. They were each transported by EMS to local medical facilities in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
