El Paso, TX — March 26, 2023, a man was injured as the result of an accident involving an RV around 2:30 a.m. along James Grant Drive.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. in the area of James Grant Drive and George Dieter Drive.
Officials said that a 22-year-old man was driving a pickup along James Grant when the vehicle somehow ran off-road. The pickup then careened through a mailbox and then into a parked RV. As a result, the pickup driver sustained serious injuries.

Police haven’t confirmed what they think caused the crash, but they did mention looking into alcohol as a possibility. That may catch a lot of people’s attention, but it’s important to remember that’s just one possible factor. Things like tire blowouts, mechanical issues, road hazards, medical conditions, and fatigue can all cause a crash like this. But people see someone in their 20s crashing at 2:00 a.m., and they just assume alcohol was involved. As common as that is, it’s not going to do any good jumping to conclusions. It’s best to simply let the evidence speak for itself, and that’s going to depend on more thorough investigations.
