Hunt County, TX — September 3, 2023, Ronnie Keith McCasland sustained injuries due to a two-vehicle car accident at around 6:24 p.m. on F.M. 6.
According to preliminary information released by authorities, the crash occurred off the corner of the F.M. 6 and Riverfield Drive intersection.
Investigators said that 63-year-old Ronnie Keith McCasland was traveling eastbound along F.M. 6 at the time. While doing so, an eastbound Jeep Wrangler reportedly went left of center, crashing into McCasland’s vehicle.
Due to the collision, McCasland sustained injuries which were described by authorities as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other injuries resulting from the crash. Authorities allege that the Jeep driver was under the infleunce of alcohol at the time and reportedly arrested them for intoxication assault. It’s unclear right now if any official charges have been filed.
