Dallas County, TX — August 14, 2023, Ron Lamont Ray was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 8:50 p.m. along Dizzy Dean Drive.
Officials said in their statements that the crash happened in the area of Dizzy Dean Drive and Badger Run. Details say that 46-year-old Ron Lamont Ray was on a motorcycle going northbound on Dizzy Dean. While doing so, a car struck Ray from behind, ultimately causing fatal injuries.

Authorities have not reported any charges or citations, and they say only that they believe inattention may be a contributing factor. Is there anyone out there who knows more? Considering months have gone by, I’m surprised to see statements from authorities be so bare. Maybe they just didn’t care to release more information to the public, which is fine so long as they were able to get the victim’s loved ones the answers they deserve. But my concern is all the times I’ve seen reports like these reflect how little attention authorities were able to give to the crash. Hopefully, that isn’t what happened here.
