Amarillo, TX — June 19, 2023, one person was injured as the result of a truck accident Monday afternoon along Interstate 40.

Preliminary details about the accident say that it closed down westbound lanes of the interstate at Washington Street until approximately 2:45 p.m. Statements about the crash gave few details, but the current information says an “oxygen truck” was going along the intersection when it rear-ended a car.
