Jefferson County, TX — November 10, 2023, Roger Dale Hall and two others were injured in a truck accident just after 5:30 a.m. along W. Port Arthur Rd.
According to reports, 67-year-old Roger Dale Hall and a 67-year-old female passenger were traveling in a northbound Ram pickup truck on W. Port Arthur Road approaching the Hillebrandt Road intersection when the accident occurred.

An 18-wheeler was stopped in the left-most northbound lane of Port Arthur Road waiting for an opening to make a safe left turn onto Hillebrandt when, for unknown reasons, the Ram rear-ended the 18-wheeler. The impact caused the back end of the ram to spin to the left into oncoming southbound traffic on Port Arthur Road; it was impacted by a Ram 2500 pickup. Both Hall and the sole occupant of the Ram 2500—a 58-year-old man—sustained reportedly severe injuries in the crash. The 67-year-old woman who had been in the Ram with Hall also sustained minor injures. All three were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and wet. There are not currently any further details available pertaining to this incident.
