Baytown, TX — October 11, 2024, Rodolfo Martinez was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 7:48 P.M. on North Alexander.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person dead in the evening hours of October 11th. According to official reports, Rodolfo Martinez was on-foot using the crosswalk at the intersection of N. Alexander Drive and Shepherd Road when an unknown vehicle ran a red light and struck Martinez before then fleeing the scene.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Martinez had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital, however due to the severity of his injuries, he was later pronounced deceased. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident and whether any charges or citations have been filed.
