Bexar County, TX —  June 16, 2024, Rocel Tupas and three others were injured following a car accident shortly before 12:15 p.m. along Farm to Market 1976.

According to authorities, 34-year-old Rocel Tupas, a 37-year-old woman, and two girls ages 14 and 16 were traveling in a westbound Mitsubishi Outlander on Walzem Road in the vicinity of the Windsor Cross intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Outlander was rear-ended by a westbound Ford Edge. The impact caused the Outlander to be pushed forward into the rear-end of a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Tupas and the 37-year-old woman from the Outlander suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck. The two minor girls who were with them in the Outlander sustained minor injuries, as well, according to reports. They were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
