Houston, TX — April 22, 2024, two people were killed and another was injured in a car accident at approximately 9:30 p.m. along Synott Road.
According to authorities, a pickup truck was traveling northbound on Synott Road in the vicinity of the Clarewood Drive intersection when the accident took place.

Officials state that the pickup truck may have been traveling at high speeds leading up to the accident. It reportedly attempted to pass another northbound vehicle at an apparently unsafe time, resulting in a collision with a southbound Nissan Altima. The crash caused the Altima to go into a spin before colliding with a pole. The pickup truck was then involved in a secondary collision with a southbound Chevy Malibu.
The victim who had been behind the wheel of the Altima incurred injuries of unknown severity, though they were described to have been non life-threatening. They were transported to a local hospital by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The drivers of both the pickup truck and the Malibu, however, reportedly sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
