Ranger, TX — April 17, 2023, Robert Macdonald was killed as the result of a work accident at around 3:45 p.m. off the side of I-20.
In an initial investigation summary released by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, it’s said that the incident took place at Exit 352 along I-20.

It appears that 55-year-old Robert Macdonald was working by an aerial lift at the time. Details say that while loading the machinery, it somehow got caught on pavement, ultimately causing it to overturn. This resulted in the machinery falling on and crushing Macdonald, and his injuries proved fatal.
The OSHA summary listed three allegedly serious violations, and it included a recommended penalty of $9,376. Current information about the incident is unavailable right now, and the summary says the case status is “open.”
