Marion County, WV — November 29, 2023, Robert Gray was killed in a truck accident at approximately a quarter to midnight along Interstate 79.

According to reports, Robert Gray—age 79—was traveling in a southbound Kia Soul in the vicinity of the Bunner Ridge Road exit when the accident took place.

The Kia Soul was allegedly attempting to pass an 18-wheeler but, for unknown reasons, was unable to safely complete the maneuver. The Kia ended up colliding with the 18-wheeler, killing Gray as a result. No other injuries were reported in connection to this incident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were not reported on. There are not currently any additional details available.
