Pulaski County, AR — July 2, 2023, Richard Wade Vaughn was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 8:16 p.m. along Highway 107.
Authorities with the Arkansas Department of Public Safety report that the incident took place along Highway 107 in the area of the W. Justice Road intersection.
According to a current accident summary, it appears 64-year-old Richard Wade Vaughn was in a Chevy traveling northbound along the highway. A Freightliner semi-truck was going southbound. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the two vehicles collided head-on.
Vaughn sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Reports did not list anyone else being injured. Weather conditions were described as clear and dry at the time of the crash. Right now, no further information can be confirmed pending investigations.
