Bell County, TX — February 19, 2024, Richard Glaser was killed in a truck accident on at approximately 3:00 p.m. along Farm to Market 2484.
According to authorities, 56-year-old Richard Glaser, of Cameron, was traveling in an eastbound 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow on F.M. 2484 in the vicinity of F.M. 3482 when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to safely navigate a curve in the road. The 18-wheeler reportedly veered off of the road, overturning before coming to a stop. The 18-wheeler allegedly burst into flames as a result of the crash. Glaser incurred reportedly fatal injuries due to the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
