El Paso, TX — September 8, 2024, Ricardo Cuellar was killed following a truck accident shortly before 9:30 p.m. along Interstate 10.
According to authorities, the accident took place on the eastbound lanes of I.H. 10 in the vicinity of Airway Boulevard.
Statements from the El Paso Police Department say that 50-year-old Ricardo Cuellar was on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. In a series of events still under investigation, Cuellar ended up falling off the bike and being run over by a semi-truck. That semi-truck then continued driving and left the scene. Other vehicles struck Cuellar, but those drivers reportedly remained at the scene or spoke with authorities.
Cuellar died due to the accident. Right now, authorities say they’re still looking for the truck involved in the collision. They did not offer any descriptions in public releases.

With all of the other people reportedly involved here, it’s strange that authorities wouldn’t have a description for the truck involved. Putting details out to the public is almost always a good way to find drivers who leave an accident scene. Someone is bound to connect the dots and ID the vehicle or the driver involved. So what steps are being taken here to ensure the victim’s loved ones get the answers they deserve?
