Dallas, TX — February 11, 2023, Rafael Vazquez was killed as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 6:27 a.m. along Spur 408.
Authorities said that the incident took place along the southbound lanes of Patriot Parkway in the area of Grady Niblo Road, near Duncanville.
Officials said that 21-year-old Rafael Vazquez was in a Honda Accord traveling southbound on the highway. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the vehicle veered out of its lane to the right. It went onto the median between main lanes and an off-ramp where it then crashed into an exit sign. The vehicle continued off-road where it crashed into a communications pole before coming to a stop.
Vazquez was fatally injured as a result of the crash. Current information released by authorities does not show anyone else being involved in the crash. They did not provide any additional information that can be confirmed at this time.
