Burlington County, NJ — June 26, 2023, Rafael C. Salinas was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 8:50 a.m. on Route 206 in Burlington County.
Authorities report Mr. Salinas’s pickup truck was facing south and slowing down for a left-hand turn when his pickup was rear-ended by a semi-truck. The impact then purportedly forced the victim’s truck into the northbound lane where it was struck head-on by a second truck. Lastly, Mr. Salina’s pickup slid back into the southbound lanes and collided with a third truck.
Rafael C. Salinas suffered fatal injuries and was purportedly pronounced deceased at the crash site. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities have not released what led up to the initial crash, or if all the truck drivers remained at the scene.
