Dallas, TX — October 8, 2024, Phillip Roberson was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident just before 10:15 p.m. along Gaston Avenue.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Phillip Roberson was traveling on a northeast bound motorcycle on Gaston Avenue approaching the Carroll Avenue intersection in the right lane when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Ford Bronco exited a parking lot and entered the right lane of the northeast bound Gaston Avenue in front of the motorcycle. In order to avoid a collision with the Bronco, the motorcycle reportedly swerved to the right, coming up on the right side of the passenger vehicle. However, at the same time, the Bronco made a right turn onto Carroll Avenue; this resulted in a collision between the right side of the Bronco and the left side of the motorcycle.
Roberson suffered reportedly serious injuries due to the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
