Jackson County, TX — April 20, 2024, Penny Vacek was injured in a car accident at approximately 6:45 p.m. along Farm to Market 3131.
According to authorities, 54-year-old Penny Vacek and a 56-year-old man were traveling in an eastbound Ford F-250 on Farm to Market 3131 at the Hamilton Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Ford F-150 which was northbound on Hamilton Road entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the back-left side of the F-150 and the front-right of the F-250.
Vacek suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
