Harris County, TX — April 5, 2023, Penelope Keys was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at 7:25 p.m. along North Sam Houston Parkway East.
Preliminary details about the crash released to the public by police officials indicate that it took place near the intersection of Sam Houston and Greenspoint Drive.
According to initial statements, 57-year-old Penelope Keys was in a Nissan Rogue that had been traveling eastbound along Sam Houston Parkway. While rounding a curve, it appears the vehicle somehow ran off the side of the roadway. There, the Nissan then crashed into a tree.
Due to the severity of the collision, Keys sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal.
