Atascosa County, TX — July 4, 2023, Pedro Gutierrez Jr. was injured following a single-vehicle accident at around midnight along U.S. Highway 281.
According to initial details about the crash, the incident took place at approximately 12:07 a.m. in the area of U.S. 281 and Esparza Road.
Preliminary details from authorities indicate that 26-year-old Pedro Gutierrez was in a Nissan Altima that was going northbound along the highway. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the vehicle traveled off the side of the road where it crashed. The car overturned across Esparza Road before coming to a stop off-road.
Gutierrez was said to have incapacitating injuries resulting from the crash. It did not appear that anyone else was hurt due to the crash. At this time, further information is unavailable pending investigations.
