Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It seems the driver responsible for the victim’s injuries fled the scene but had a change of heart and returned. I salute her for (eventually) doing the right thing, but it’s still important to investigate this matter carefully and find out the whole story. Why did she run in the first place? Was it just a matter of panic in a tense moment, or was it something else? Hopefully the runaway driver will explain herself to investigators, as the injured man certainly deserves answers. Any other steps might depend on what those answers turn out to be.
