Houston, TX — February 9, 2024, a female pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run car accident just after 9:00 p.m. along Beverly Hill Street.
According to authorities, a 37-year-old woman was on foot walking in the parking lot of a gated apartment complex on Beverly Hill Street in the vicinity west of Unity Drive when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that a red Toyota Tacoma reportedly collided with a Toyota Camry before striking the woman. It then allegedly hit a Toyota Tacoma and a BMW before fleeing the scene. It apparently hit the gate, as well, before driving away, neglecting to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
The woman incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the hit-and-run. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. None of the vehicles which were struck were occupied. No other injuries have been reported.
