Houston, TX — January 2, 2026, a pedestrian was injured following an apparent hit and run accident around 2:01 a.m. on Yellowstone Boulevard.
Initial details about the accident say that it happened in the area of Yellowstone Boulevard and Paris Street.
It appears that a 42-year-old man was walking at the time. While walking, a vehicle reportedly struck the man, then left the scene. The man was seriously injured as a result. Authorities did not release a description for the suspect vehicle, and there’s been no report of arrests so far.

With any hit-and-run, the more information authorities can release to the public, the better. A lot of the time, someone in the community is able to connect the dots and help authorities identify and locate a suspect. The same could happen here so long as authorities keep up the pressure and share as much information as they can. I maintain hope there will be accountability for what happened here.
