San Antonio, TX — July 13, 2025, one person was fatally injured due to a car versus pedestrian hit-and-run accident at 10:15 p.m. on I-10.
According to initial details from authorities, the accident happened in the area of Cameron Street along westbound lanes of the interstate.
Investigators said that a man, unidentified at this time, was on foot in the area of I-10 main lanes. While there, two vehicles struck the man. The first one reportedly fled the scene. Due to the collisions, the pedestrian was killed.
Right now, no charges have been filed. The runaway driver remains sought by authorities.

In addition to finding out what exactly happened here, authorities will no doubt be looking for the driver who left the scene. Hopefully more information can be put into the public eye. If someone is able to connect the dots, they can help authorities find the suspect and see the answer for their involvement in the accident and any other factors that may have contributed to the collision itself.
