Have authorities been able to gather any move information here? Generally speaking, getting as much info out to the public is one of the most useful things investigators can do following a hit-and-run. It’s possible there are witnesses who didn’t come forward, or maybe there are nearby businesses that caught the incident on video. Gathering that kind of evidence can be crucial for seeing there’s accountability after an accident like this. Unfortunately, there are times where authorities move on too quickly, leaving it up to independent investigations to pick up the slack.
