San Antonio, TX — August 23, 2025, one person was seriously injured due to a hit-and-run accident that happened around 3:00 a.m. on Bandera Road.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place at the intersection of Bandera Road and Kentucky Avenue.

According to officials, a pedestrian was crossing the roadway at the time when a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian. After the collision, the vehicle reportedly left the scene. There is not currently an available description for the runaway vehicle.

With so few details available right now, I have to wonder if authorities are taking steps to look beyond just the road where the impact occurred. For example, there seem to be some nearby businesses and homes in this area. Do any of them have cameras that had a view of the accident? It would surprise people how often authorities overlook that. Being able to publish an image of the suspect vehicle would be a huge step toward potentially identifying the runaway driver and resolving this matter. But if authorities aren’t treating this accident as a high priority, that vital evidence could be lost or deleted.
