Austin, TX — June 14, 2023, a pedestrian sustained injuries after a hit-and-run accident at around 11:14 p.m. along East Riverside Drive.
Preliminary information about the incident says that it happened along the 2100 block of East Riverside Drive, which is just off the corner of Burton Drive between I-35 and Pleasant Valley Road.
According to current information, a man was found along the median on Riverside Drive after what police describe as a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. The vehicle involved did not stay at the scene.
The pedestrian involved, unidentified at this time, was taken to a hospital, treated, and since released, according to reports. The vehicle police are searching for is said to be a black sedan that fled eastbound along Riverside. No further information is available pending continuing investigations.
