Upshur County, TX — December 13, 2023, a woman was killed in a pedestrian vs car accident at approximately 6:30 in the morning along Hwy. 155.
According to authorities, a woman was standing near a school bus which was at a stop with lights and stop sign activated at the intersection of Hwy. 155 in Mullberry Road when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, a pickup failed to heed the lights and sign, hitting the woman as a result. She incurred fatal injuries due to incident, having been declared deceased at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.
