Tyler, TX — May 29, 2024, a pedestrian was killed following a car accident at approximately 2:30 p.m. along Chandler Highway, S.H. 31.
According to authorities, a pedestrian was attempting to cross Chandler Highway from south to north in the vicinity near the Patton Lane intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by an eastbound pickup truck. The victims suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
