McKinney, TX — May 19, 2024, a woman was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 10:15 p.m. along South McDonald Street.
According to authorities, a 39-year-old woman was on foot walking on McDonald Street in the vicinity of Jefferson Street when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Preliminary reports state that, for as yet unknown reasons, the woman was struck by a Ford Focus. She suffered reportedly severe injuries and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. However, she was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of her injuries, having later been declared deceased.
