Collin County, TX — February 10, 2024, a woman was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident shortly before 7:30 a.m. along Alma Road.
According to authorities, a 24-year-old woman was jogging northbound on Alma Street crossing Eldorado Parkway when the accident occurred.
The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the woman was truck by a Hyundai Elantra which had been traveling eastbound on Eldorado Parkway through the intersection.
The woman incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
