Killeen, TX — May 22, 2024, a woman was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident that took place along East Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
According to authorities, a 63-year-old woman was attempting to cross East Veterans Memorial Boulevard on foot somewhere in the vicinity of Highland Avenue when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a Chevrolet pickup truck stuck the woman. Life saving measures were taken, according to reports; in the end, however, the victim was unable to overcome the severity of her injuries and was declared deceased.
The weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point. The investigation is currently ongoing.
