Brownwood, TX — June 6, 2023, Patrick Parks and another person were injured after a car accident at approximately 10:41 a.m. along Coggin Avenue.
Preliminary details about the car accident said that it happened at the intersection of Coggin Avenue and 3rd Street.
According to officials, 69-year-old Patrick Fidelas Parks was in a Chevy Silverado going southwest along Coggin. At the 3rd Street intersection, police say that a Jeep Grand Cherokee going northwest “failed to clear” the intersection, and Parks’s vehicle crashed into the Jeep.
Due to the collision, Parks had injuries described as non-incapacitating. It appears that a 42-year-old man riding in the Jeep had incapacitating injuries. The driver of the Jeep was apparently uninjured. Police allege that driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time, and it appears there are pending charges for DWI.
