New Braunfels, TX — April 6, 2023, Patricia Uzzi and another person were injured following a car accident at 8:11 a.m. along I-35.

Initial details about the crash were released by authorities, who indicate the crash happened near the I-35 frontage road and Highway 46 intersection.

Patricia Uzzi, 1 Injured in Car Accident in New Braunfels, TX

Details at this time show that 60-year-old Patricia Uzzi was in a Ford F-150 that was going eastbound along the I-35 frontage road. Uzzi began slowing down for an unspecified reason, but a Dodge Grand Caravan traveling the same direction did not slow down and rear-ended Uzzi’s Ford.

As a result of the collision, Uzzi and the other driver—an unidentified 36-year-old New Braunfels woman—reportedly had incapacitating injuries. A teenager riding in the Dodge may have been injured, as well. Currently, there are no additional details confirmed about the crash.
